In this role, you will…
- Train as an Associate Underwriter on service related tasks.
- Gain knowledge of underwriting systems and policy types.
- Gather information for New Business applications.
- Process loss runs and credential letters.
- Shadow other areas: Underwriting, Customer Service, Manual Operations.
- Assist with various other duties and project work as assigned.
- Active pursuit of degree in Insurance, Risk Management or Business with at least 2 years completed.
- O utstanding interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to succeed in high volume environments requiring personal organization, multitasking, and regular reprioritization with short turnaround time on items of high impact.
- Proven ability to work on a team or operate independently and prioritize job duties.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Mandatory computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet).
- Year-round availability: 15-20 hours/week during the school year and 40 hours/week during the summer.
- Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship, both now and in the future.
