Overview
As a Regional IT Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day IT Operations of all Facilities within specified regions. Reporting to the Enterprise Services Leadership Team, the Regional IT Operations Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient functioning of IT systems, supporting clinical operations, and facilitating the delivery of high-quality patient care aligned with the organization's business objectives.
This role involves managing our outpatient imaging center's IT infrastructure, vendor management, Incident crisis situations, on-premises & mobile modality IT management, and project support. It is also responsible for triaging all IT-related issues to completion, providing Tier 2 PLUS support coordination, or simply resolution management in cooperation with Vendors or the IT Helpdesk.
In addition, the Regional IT Operations Manager will also participate in defining and implementing IT policies, procedures, and best practices for our outpatient imaging centers. The responsibilities listed below will be reported back up to the Enterprise Services Leadership Team

Responsibilities
- IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, workstations, and telecommunications systems, to support healthcare operations.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to procure IT services, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships. Additionally, manage vendor invoicing and budgets.
- Incident Crisis Situation Management: Collaborate with other IT support staff and IT Leadership to manage critical incidents impacting outpatient imaging facilities' IT systems, infrastructure, or services. These incidents could range from network and communication outages to software failures and data breaches.
- On-premises & Mobile Modality IT Management: Collaborate with biomedical engineers and healthcare professionals to assess IT requirements and integrate bio-medical equipment with existing IT infrastructure. Provide technical leadership and guidance to IT staff in bio-medical IT projects and initiatives. Develop and maintain relationships with bio-medical equipment vendors and service providers to support IT initiatives and projects. Maintain modality configurations and DICOM standards for all locations in assigned regions. Oversee IT systems and infrastructure management and optimization within our mobile MRI fleet.
- IT Project Support: Assist project managers and IT teams in planning and executing IT field projects. Collaborate with project team members, stakeholders, and vendors. Coordinate project-related activities, such as resource allocation, equipment procurement, and logistics.
- Facility Relations / Customer Service: Maintain strong relationships with all Center and Regional Managers in assigned regions for IT-related business continuity. Understand each facility's IT needs and requirements and work with internal IT teams to develop and implement customized solutions and services to meet those needs. Conduct regular site visits and meetings with facility staff to assess satisfaction levels, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement. Act as a liaison between facilities and internal IT teams.
Education:
- Minimum: Associate Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field (2 years of relevant experience may be considered in place of degree)
- Preferred: A Bachelors Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Minimum: One year relevant experience in a Healthcare setting
