Salary Range: $157,500-170,000 /Annually.
The Senior Director of Business Development would have a proven record of accomplishment of meeting and exceeding quotas. Is capable to bring a network of relationships to help create new business pipeline. Has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in small/large audiences. Will be highly organized and capable of leading multiple deals to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Able to take a consultative approach to sales to fully understand a client’s needs, and MedReview’s suite of services.
- The ability to build relationships across a prospect organization, especially at the Payer C-Level and collaborate as necessary to accomplish goals.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high growth environment and perform multiple roles and functions.
- Execute on strategic sales activities and provide regular updates to Sales Leadership.
- Research and analyze environmental and competitive conditions, customer needs, and market trends. Recommend strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and ensure strategic sales plans complement marketplace needs.
- Knowledge of Payment Integrity/Payment Accuracy/Cost Containment/Fraud Waste Abuse, solutions in the healthcare and payer marketplace
- Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with Company’s internal departments and teams.
- Attend industry trade shows, professional meetings and seminars.
- Keep up to date on industry, market, product, and technology trends.
- Responsible for entering all sales activity and opportunities in Salesforce.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 5 years' sales experience, complex sales, solution selling in healthcare or 5 years in account management with direct payment integrity experience.
- Experience selling to Payer/Health Plan market space.
- Experience upselling, nurturing business relationships, retaining and expanding our client’s footprint.
- Proven record of accomplishment of meeting and exceeding quotas.
- Capability to bring a network of relationships to help create new business pipeline.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in small/large audiences.
- Highly organized and capable of leading multiple deals to completion.
- Participate in and lead in competitive sales and RFP opportunities.
- Highly developed organizational abilities as well as time management skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications and CRM software (Salesforce).
- 3 years’ payment integrity or FW&A
Work Environment:
- Visual and Auditory comprehension & function for written & verbal communication.
- Manual Dexterity with ability to use computers and other office equipment necessary to perform assigned tasks.
- Ability to access various settings, negotiate architectural barriers (i.e., stairs) in office and community settings.
- Ability use Public Transportation to commute to work.
- Monday-Thursday in office in our NYC headquarters
