Job Description:
We are seeking an accomplished Director of Surgical Services to lead and elevate our surgical operations in Western Idaho. This leadership role requires a professional with a proven track record in surgical services, including a minimum of 3–4 years of experience and prior management expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the surgical services department.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement policies to enhance surgical service delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and manage surgical staff to foster a collaborative and efficient team.
- Monitor and improve patient care quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate with other departments for seamless patient care.
- Manage departmental budget and resources efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: ID RN License or Compact State License (or eligibility to obtain an Idaho RN license by endorsement upon hire).
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Certifications: Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) and Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Experience: Hands-on knowledge of central processing, sterilization, and decontamination procedures.
