Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse Manager to oversee nursing operations within our healthcare facility. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities to ensure quality patient care.
- Oversee medical documentation processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Provide direct patient care as needed, including tube feeding and administering medications.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct regular training sessions for nursing staff on best practices in hospital medicine and sterile processing.
- Maintain knowledge of anatomy and emergency medicine protocols to guide clinical decisions.
- Utilize eClinicalWorks for effective patient management and record keeping.
- Ensure a safe environment for patients by adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Assist in lifting patients as required, ensuring proper techniques are utilized to prevent injury.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical documentation practices and hospital policies.
- Experience in pediatrics, emergency medicine, or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems.
- Ability to perform tube feeding and demonstrate knowledge of sterile processing techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Must be able to lift patients safely as part of routine care procedures.
