The Supply Chain Strategic Analyst is responsible for optimizing sourcing decisions across the supply chain of MedSpeed. The role will use data to analyze market trends and supplier options to help drive the optimization of the company’s supply chain through cost-effective sourcing strategies. The role drives value and efficiencies throughout the procurement lifecycle and partners with our internal stakeholders to ensure that MedSpeed has a robust vendor management strategy.

What you will be doing as a Supply Chain Strategic Analyst at MedSpeed:

• Analyzes company spending patterns to identify potential cost savings opportunities across different categories within MedSpeed
• Monitors domestic market trends, supplier capabilities, and price fluctuations to identify new sourcing options and potential risks
• Assesses potential suppliers based on factors like quality, price, delivery time, reliability, and sustainability practices
• Develops strategies for contract negotiations with suppliers to secure the best terms and pricing
• Manages supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon terms and conditions
• Tracks supplier performance metrics like delivery times, quality levels, and cost adherence
• Implements cost-saving initiatives through supplier consolidation, contract renegotiation, and value engineering
• Identifies and manages potential risks associated with sourcing, such as supply chain disruptions or geopolitical instability
• Build and nurture a collaborative MedSpeed team culture
  
  
  

What you need to become a MedSpeed Supply Chain Strategic Analyst:

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, or Finance
• 3-5 years’ experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management
• Experience with business procurement lifecycles
  
  
  

Skill and Competency Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to identify trends and patterns
• Deep understanding of procurement processes, including sourcing strategies, RFQs, and contract management
• Ability to support contract negotiations with suppliers to achieve favorable terms
• Awareness of market dynamics and industry trends related to the company's sourcing categories
• Effective communication to collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and suppliers
• Ability to manage complex sourcing projects from initiation to implementation
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency including Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to build and nurture a collaborative team culture
  
  
  

Compensation Statement

The salary range is $70,000 - $85,000 annually and dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, MedSpeed offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and company performance.
