About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Spanish-speaking Dermatologist to provide high-quality skin care services on a part-time basis. This role involves treating patients in two locations: one day per week in Hempstead and one day per week in Riverhead. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dermatology, with the ability to diagnose and treat a variety of skin conditions.
Position Overview:
As a Dermatologist, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of skin conditions, ensuring the best care for your patients. Fluency in Spanish is required to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive skin evaluations and diagnoses.
- Treat conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancers.
- Provide cosmetic dermatology services as needed.
- Conduct minor in-office procedures, including biopsies and lesion removals.
- Educate patients on skin care, treatment plans, and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
Schedule:
- One day per week in Hempstead, NY.
- One day per week in Riverhead, NY.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified or board-eligible Dermatologist.
- Active medical license in the state of New York.
- Fluency in Spanish is required.
- Experience in both medical and cosmetic dermatology is a plus.
- Strong diagnostic and procedural skills.
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
Compensation:
