New to Practice (NTP) Nurse Residency Program
Our NTP Nurse Residency Program is part of Vizient/American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN). It is evidence-based and has demonstrated competitive retention rates of NTP Nurse Residents.
This 12-month long program provides you with a series of structured learning and practice experiences designed to assist you in your transition from a new to practice to a professional nurse and clinical leader at the bedside. This transition prepares you for success as a full partner on the interdisciplinary healthcare team, providing safe and quality care to our patients.

Education/Training: BSN preferred, Associate Degree from an accredited School of Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree enrollment required within 6 months of start date and completion within 3 years.
Experience: None required.
License/Cert/Reg: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state or jurisdiction of the facility seeking employment, or Multistate Compact state or license eligible. CPR certification required by completion of introductory period.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills required
