MedStar Health is looking for a Weekend (3pm- 11pm) Part Time Mechanic Journeyman to join our team at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital! Primary Duties:
- Perform General maintenance Plumbing, Electrical and Carpentry works to keep the Hospital in effective working order.
- Perform Painting of walls, Ceiling repairs, Doors and Fixtures
- Basic Knowledge of the PEVCO Tube Station and Fire Alarm System
- Perform Preventive Maintenance and general building maintenance duties of assigned locations, to ensure efficient and safe operation of facility and grounds.
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Basic Computer skills is required for the work order system to complete all assigned maintenance requests.
- Perform other related duties and assigned in order to meet the needs of the Department.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Completion of acceptable training.
- Demonstrated competency in board areas.
- 3-4 years' experience.
- Journeyman License in either Electrician, HVAC, Plumber.
