What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registrar (FT Evening Shift) position at medstar?
Status: Full-time, 40-hours per week
Schedule: Evening Shift (3:00pm-11:00pm with rotating weekends)
Performs Patient Access and registration duties through system applications, answer phones, pre-register patients for upcoming admissions, verifies patient demographics and insurance coverage via EEM system and functions as a liaison to Patient Accounting. May perform duties related to cash collection. Demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills. Adhere to HIPPA and patient confidentiality requirements. May act as patient's first point of contact.
