The Neuromodulation Global Communications seeks a Content Management Specialist who will support our mission to improve lives through innovative communication. The Content Management Specialist will act as an in-house journalist and content creator, responsible for producing high-quality, time-sensitive content that supports business objectives and enhances brand storytelling. This role involves creating engaging content packages that include written materials, videos, social media posts, digital assets, infographics, and other creative formats. The specialist will play a key role in defining and executing content management strategies, targeting diverse internal and external audiences.

As a Content Management Specialist, you will:

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop and deliver compelling content packages, utilizing a variety of formats to effectively communicate stories to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Create and implement content management strategies aligned with business goals and audience needs.

  • Identify content requirements, target audiences, and establish content calendars to shape stakeholder perceptions and drive measurable results.

  • Collaborate with Medtronic customers, partners, employees, thought leaders, and other stakeholders to produce impactful content.

  • Monitor trending news stories, audience discussions, industry events, and popular culture to uncover opportunities for positioning Medtronic favorably and supporting key initiatives.

  • Leverage data and analytics tools to assess content performance, optimize strategies, and ensure relevance to target audiences.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a communications role or advanced degree with 0 years of experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the healthcare or medical technology sector.

  • Familiarity with multimedia production, including video editing and graphic design.

  • Knowledge of social media trends and tools.

  • Expertise with content management systems as SharePoint, Word Press

  • Consumer-facing communications experience.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$60,800.00 - $91,200.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20 hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance , Health Savings Account , Healthcare Flexible Spending Account , Life insurance, Long-term disability leave , Dependent daycare spending account , Tuition assistance/reimbursement , and Simple Steps (global well-being program).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to all regular employees: Incentive plans, 401(k) plan plus employer contribution and match , Short-term disability , Paid time off , Paid holidays , Employee Stock Purchase Plan , Employee Assistance Program , Non-qualified Retirement Plan Supplement (subject to IRS earning minimums) , and Capital Accumulation Plan (available to Vice Presidents and above, or subject to IRS earning minimums).

Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns. Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time, as required under applicable state law, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Please note some of the above benefits may not apply to workers in Puerto Rico.
