We are seeking a dynamic Program Manager to be a member of the Cardiac Surgery Operations Staff, reporting to the VP of Operations. This team manages complex projects and programs in the released product space to ensure end to end operation’s success and continuity of service to the field.
The Cardiac Surgery Operating Unit develops life-restoring therapies and healthcare solutions that span the care continuum; integrating technologies and applying clinical and economic evidence to increase patient access, improve efficiency of procedures and deliver successful patient outcomes.
This position is in Brooklyn Park, MN. within the Cardiac Surgery (CS) Operating Unit and has flexible on-site presence, a minimum of four (4) days a week.
A Day in the Life
In general, the following responsibilities apply for the Program Manager role. This includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Set clear objectives, evaluate progress against objectives, and instill performance-oriented culture with a focus on accountability.
- Communicates with stakeholders and obtains stakeholder engagement to ensure the end products or processes will solve the business problems.
- Ability to work independently and take the initiative on tasks.
- Utilize effective influence, prioritization, conflict resolution & risk management skills.
- Have agility in solving escalations spanning multiple functions, customers, and sites.
- Partner across networks to leverage continuous improvement opportunities as well as transformational programs
Qualifications –
Must Have - Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor’s of engineering degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of technical experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years technical experience
Nice to Have
- Project Management/MBA/PMP: Experience leading complex project/program including financial accountability
- Record of success in leading product development and/or process improvement projects
- Detailed skill in organizing work for unstructured problems or execution tasks in the operations space
- Experience in medical device or highly regulated industry
- Product/Process technical expertise including Qualifications (i.e. Validation including IQ, OQ, PQ activities; CPAP or related)
- Product development; Manufacturing Engineering; Quality Engineering
- Sourcing and/or Supply Chain experience
- Experience with Design for Manufacturability/DRM/DFSS or similar methodology

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California.
