What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Recon Analyst position at Meduit?
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing actionable insights to drive decision-making. You will work closely with Data Development and Operations to understand their data needs relative to client inventory reconciliation between Meduit business systems and client inventory files.
Key Accountabilities of the Data Recon Analyst:
Use Business Intelligence tools (Excel, Visualizations)
Perform data validation and reconciliation between data sets.
Write complex SQL statements across multiple RDMS platforms.
Collect, process, and analyze large datasets using statistical techniques.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present findings.
Conduct trend analyses and identify patterns to inform strategic decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements.
Interpret complex data sets and communicate results clearly to stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Stay current with industry trends and data analytics tools.
Qualifications of the Data Recon Analyst
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
2 years minimum experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
2 years minimum experience in data analysis tools and programming languages including SQL, Python, and R.
2 years minimum experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
Attention to detail and a commitment to data quality.
Preferred Qualifications of the Data Recon Analyst
Experience in healthcare, medical insurance claims, and/or healthcare revenue cycle
Familiarity with machine learning concepts and tools.
Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions
This position requires prolonged periods of sitting. Requires coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, mouse and other office equipment.
Work in this position will be performed in a remote office environment. This position may require some travel.
The salary range for this role is $75,000 to $85,000 based on experience, skills, and location. We offer full benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401k along with this being a remote opportunity.
