POSITION SUMMARY:
The Material Handler I will be responsible for receiving, movement, handling, and accounting of raw materials, Work-in-Process, and Finished Goods within the Antares Pharma Minnesota Operations Facility (APMOF). This position will involve the physical handling of materials as well as maintenance of accurate records within a cGMP environment. This individual operates in accordance with Antares Pharma policies and procedures, environmental, health, safety, and cGMP guidelines. The Material Handler I will be responsible for receiving, movement, handling, and accounting of raw materials, Work-in-Process, and Finished Goods within the Antares Pharma Minnesota Operations Facility (APMOF). This position will involve the physical handling of materials as well as maintenance of accurate records within a cGMP environment. This individual operates in accordance with Antares Pharma policies and procedures, environmental, health, safety, and cGMP guidelines. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
These may include but are not limited to:
- Receiving, check and verification of incoming shipments.
- Movement and storage of materials in the appropriate storage locations
- Assists with maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure established safety requirements are maintained.
- Use of pallet jacks and forklift to move materials.
- Proper packaging and shipment of outbound materials
- Responsible for the accurate entry of data related to receiving, inventory control, movement, and shipping of materials.
- Perform cycle counts and ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained. Investigates and reports any inventory discrepancies.
- Performs all job duties in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- A minimum of one to three years of warehousing and inventory control experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment required.
- Experience working in an FDA regulated operation strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries preferred.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
- Demonstrates attention to detail.
- Must have the ability to work safely and responsibly in a Warehouse area.
- Must be able to work well independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities, as necessary.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
