Applications Engineer – machining – CNC milling or mill / turn – manufacturing
INDUSTRY : High End CNC Machine Tool Builder (European Machine Tool OEM)
PROCESSES : 3, 4 and full 5 axis milling and mill / turn
INCOME : Non-exempt with overtime $90K to over $100K total income
RELOCATION : A relocation package is provided
WHAT YOU WILL NEED :
- A minimum of 5 years of experience programming and processing multi-axis mills or mill / turn.
- Proficient using any brand of cam software
- Experience reading and interpreting blue prints.
SCOPE
Demonstrate machine and capabilities through test cuts and process validation. Develop turnkey machine tool packages. Manage turnkey projects. Meet customer expectations. These projects typically take 8-16 weeks to complete. The Applications Engineer will then travel to the customer site for 1-3 weeks providing applications support and training.
