• Prepare prescriptions under the guidance of acting Pharmacists, ensuring accurate medication preparation and removal of unneeded or outdated drugs from stock
• Maintain inventory security at all times by ordering, receiving, and storing supplies
• Provide administrative support by documenting orders, prescriptions, and disbursements into the computer system
• Generate orders for drugs and supplies with guidance from Pharmacists
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Successful completion of a pharmacy technician training course and state licensing, as required
• National certification preferred but not required
