Now Hiring Full-time Account Specialist

Account Specialist is the first contact for member/subscriber inquiries and requests. Tasks include phone and computer use, payment processing, accuracy in maintaining records, and providing other assistance as needed.

Some of the most important job skills include

·        member-friendly, customer service focus

·        ability to listen to determine how to best assist members/subscribers

·        must be comfortable speaking on the phone and speaking to people coming in to the office

·        taking and accurately processing payments

·        willing to learn all aspects of the Cooperative’s programs and services

·        accuracy and attention to detail are essential

·        confidentiality is a must

The successful candidate should

·        be a people person

·        have exceptional written and verbal communication skills

·        possess strong organizational skills

·        great attention to detail

·        be able to remain focused in an active and open team environment

Computer skills should include use of:

·        Outlook

·        Google Maps

·        Microsoft Word & Excel

·        Ability to learn industry software

Training: Associates Degree or Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service preferred. Experience in electric cooperative or telecommunications/broadband industries a plus.
