Job description :

Retail Tire Sales Associate evaluates retail customer needs and makes product / service recommendations accordingly. Schedules appointments with the service department. Being a Retail Tire Sales Associate answers telephone calls in a professional manner and refers callers to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications :

• Experience preferred within an automotive, high paced tire shop environment, with knowledge of tires and mechanical service
• Provide great customer service and aid in daily scheduling for service appointments
• Ask owners questions and perform visual inspections of cars to determine the cause of problems.
• Explain to customers what kinds of repairs or servicing their car needs and make cost estimates for the work.
• Track repair status and fill out reports detailing the time spent on repairs and expenses for parts
• Assisting with phone calls concerning auto & tire service
• Ordering and invoicing tires, parts, and labor while working with the technicians
• Good customer service skills, both written and verbal
• Able to work without direct supervision
• Phone skills and customer service relations
• Tire knowledge is a plus
• Achieving 100% customer satisfaction
