Senior Product Manager – Fluid Management

A global leader in medical device innovation is seeking a Senior Product Manager – Fluid Management to help expand and manage its portfolio of advanced orthopedic solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction within the product management team; may supervise one or more direct reports.
- Lead product strategy, development planning, and cross-functional execution from concept through commercialization.
- Serve as the product expert, providing guidance and technical training to internal departments.
- Conduct market analysis and customer research to inform product positioning and innovation strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering, marketing, operations, sales, and finance teams to develop comprehensive product plans.
- Develop business cases, including financial models and technical justifications, to support product development.
- Coordinate launch activities, sales enablement, and ongoing product lifecycle management.
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape; generate competitive analysis materials.
- Identify potential third-party partnerships to enhance the product portfolio.
- Participate in key customer meetings, field visits, and product demonstrations.
- Support ongoing surveillance of existing products, including quality, performance, and end-of-life planning.
- Ability to work with cadaveric specimens in clinical research or training settings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Business, Marketing, Health Sciences, or Engineering. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, marketing, engineering, or sales within the orthopedic medical device industry.
- At least 3 years of direct experience in orthopedic or arthroscopic fluid management products.
- Demonstrated success managing cross-functional teams and bringing products to market.
- Strong understanding of surgical orthopedic procedures and operating room dynamics.
