Summary:
I am excited to be partnered with my client, a full-service Healthcare Communications agency, on their search for a detail-oriented Senior Editor to join their top-tier editorial team. As an agency the team specializes in Pharma Advertising, Medical Communications Publications for their clients, but this role in particular sits within their Pharma Advertising division, focusing in HCP, Consumer Patient.
They are looking for someone with at least 4 years’ experience to join their talented team of Editor’s. It will be your responsibility to ensure all pieces are grammatically and factually flawless, as well as manage client interaction, project and team progress!

Job Responsibilities:
- Editing initial rounds of jobs for all assigned accounts checking content, style, FDA rules and regulations, syntax, spelling, accuracy and consistency
- Fact-checking initial round of jobs and subsequent as necessary (has the ability to understand scientific and medical data)
- Work to copyedit and provide editorial reviews and fact checks for several different projects
- Establishes solid relationships with all team members while providing backup to other members of the Editorial department
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, English or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in medical communications, or relevant experience in pharmaceutical advertising, medical publishing etc.
- Experience across high science therapeutic areas
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and skilled in using software to edit digitally
- Excellent time management, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills
