The Destination Sales Coordinator will support the Destination Sales team by providing administrative and operational assistance, as well as, managing and maintaining all electronic records in the customer relation software. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth execution of tradeshows, events and supporting the sales acquisition strategy that contributes to the overall success and growth of tourism in Northern Kentucky. This role involves coordinating between sales managers, clients, external partners/venues, and internal departments to drive convention and group bookings to Northern Kentucky.
Duties (Essential Functions):
· Assists the sales team with daily administrative tasks, including data entry, scheduling, and correspondence.
· Maintains organized records of all client interactions, contracts, and event details.
· Prepares and distributes meeting materials, proposals, and promotional materials as needed.
· Serves as a point of contact for clients in the absence of the manager, addressing inquiries and providing information about venues, services, and local attractions.
· Assists in the preparation of client proposals and follow-up communications.
· Assists with the planning and coordination of trade shows, sales missions and events for the sales team.
· Supports the coordination of site visits and familiarization tours for potential clients.
· Aid in the sales lead cycle with conventions, meetings, and events, ensuring all client requirements are met.
· Coordinates with vendors, venues, and service providers to secure necessary arrangements and ensure seamless operations.
· Supports the dissemination of marketing materials through various channels, including email campaigns and social media.
· Keeps current with emerging technologies through relevant blogs, listservs, events and attending conferences.
· Works collaboratively with staff, clients, hospitality community and vendors.
· Continually develop and improve on knowledge of area hotels, venues and attractions
· Participates in projects and initiatives, as needed.
· Researches potential accounts and leads as assigned by the sales team.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Other Requirements:
· Some non-traditional hours required for events.
· Use of personal vehicle to drive between work sites.
· Some overnight travel required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
