Job Title: QUALITY Technician I
Reports To: Materials Manager

Summary: Provide quality support for materials, manufacture, and test. The Quality Tech I
position provides support under training and supervision of Quality Tech III and II.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Provides quality control support to ensure that purchased materials are inspected to
and meet company quality requirements.
2. Perform inspections and audits at the supplier’s facility or in manufacturing areas and
facilities according to established procedures.
3. Verifies and reports quality standards, and quality control instructions are utilized by
manufacturing.
4. Performs tests and inspections to assess quality levels of products
5. Supports analysis of processes.
6. Ensures all products adhere to marking and labeling requirements per company’s
policies, and procedures, and related government regulations as provided by
engineering.
7. Supports the maintenance of statistical quality control charts.
8. Apply testing procedures for parts or sub-assemblies received from outsource
vendors.

Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings of complex mechanical or electrical
- Ability to interpret and record inspection results.
- Ability to use mechanical or electrical inspection tools, instruments, and devices.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply in units of measure, using whole numbers, common
- Prioritize work in accordance with manufacturing needs.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Familiar with AX system preferred
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2 or more years quality control or related work experience preferred
- Ability to participate in project-wide system audits and surveillance, including supplier or
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices and ISO methods preferred
- Experience in Semi-conductor or other fast paced environment preferred
