Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Megaplex Logistics, LLC; 1401 Highway 13 North, Columbia, Ms 39429

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our warehouse distribution team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to support our distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, locate, and stack materials.
• Load and unload goods from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts and equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in inventory management by accurately tracking and recording material movements. Reporting to an off-site 3rd party.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse area.
• Participate in training sessions and safety meetings as required.
• Work with off-site management company and use their SAP ERP system, Zebra handguns, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Microsoft applications. Training will be provided.
• Ability to run a Tennant rider floor scrubber.
• Ability to use a shrink wrapper.
• Standard hours: Mon-Fri 7-4:30, overtime as needed but it is unusual.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid forklift operator certification or willing to obtain.
• Previous capacity in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Able to read and write.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
