Megen Construction Company, Inc. is currently seeking a Construction Project Superintendent / Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects from start to finish.
Job Responsibilities
Megen Construction Company was founded in 1993 by Evans Nwankwo. After coming from Nigeria to attend Texas A&M University, Evans had 12 successful years with one of the largest construction firms in the country, but he dreamed of owning his own business. He struck out on his own in 1993, starting Megen Construction Company in the basement of his home. From that start, and his first $350,000 project, Megen Construction has grown to over 50 construction professionals working out of offices located in Cincinnati, Ohio, South Florida and the Rocky Mountains, managing construction projects valued at over $65 Million. Today Megen Construction Company is respected for its commitment to quality, integrity, diversity and teamwork. The award-winning firm has been involved in unique and important projects throughout the country. Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all on-site construction activities
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Review and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Manage subcontractors and vendors
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations
- Prepare and submit progress reports
- Utilize Bluebeam software for project documentation
- Handle submittals and change orders efficiently
- 5 years of experience in commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles
- OSHA 30 certification
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience with Bluebeam, submittals, and change orders
