MCV Law is hiring a Client Advocate/Case Manager to join their growing Workers’ Compensation Team working in the Auburn office. This is an in-office position working Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:00. The ideal candidate must be a detailed problem solver and have a passion for helping people. Prior experience in Workers’ Compensation is preferred but not required. Relevant experience in legal, medical, or insurance fields will also be considered.
Job responsibilities include phone intake of new cases, preparation of retainer documents, meeting with clients to go over retainers and other documents, requests for hearings, requests for medical records and follow-up from providers, consistent phone and email contact with clients, transcription, assistance with case strategy, deposition coordination, correspondence, and legal documents to send to the Workers’ Compensation Board, medical providers, insurance carriers, and other law offices.
Compensation is dependent on experience. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, Life Insurance, Long-Term Disability, Paid Parking, Summer Fridays, Voluntary Benefit Options (dental, accident), and a 401k Plan (subject to eligibility). The salary is dependent on experience: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour.
