About the Role
This position runs processing machines, which include laser and press brake to fabricate parts according to work order instructions.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate metal parts
- Send metal parts through machines which include laser and press brake
- Responsible for checking quality/correct measurements on each part
- Remove and stack parts according to job order
- Clean up scraps and debris
- Conduct routine maintenance on machines as needed
- Participate as a team member by performing additional assignments to meet organizational goals as noted and observed by supervisor and coworkers
- Execute additional tasks as needed
Experience
- CNC press brake and laser experience preferred
- 1-3 months of relevant experience

Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle objects, tools or reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch and walk up to 8 hours. The employee must frequently lift up to 50 pounds; the employee is required to request assistance when lifting anything exceeding 50 pounds. The employee is frequently pushing and pulling and occasionally up to 70 pounds.
