Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement & Appointment Setting:
- Warmly greet customers as they enter the shop, build rapport, and establish a positive first impression.
- Set appointments efficiently and manage the flow of customers in the shop.
- Vehicle Inspection & Shop Flow Management:
- Ensure each vehicle receives a comprehensive inspection.
- Oversee shop flow to maintain a smooth, organized process throughout the service experience.
- Liaison & Communication:
- Act as the essential link between the technician and the customer, ensuring clear communication and setting realistic expectations for repair work.
- Explain technical details in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Sales & Repair Work Promotion:
- Build, present, and effectively sell repair work on a repair order.
- Demonstrate a sales-driven mindset, identifying opportunities to enhance customer service while increasing revenue.
- Technology & Customer Service:
- Utilize basic technology, including the internet and email, to manage appointments, customer follow-ups, and service documentation.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, and skillfully de-escalate any elevated situations with professionalism and empathy.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
- Comfortable using basic technology (internet, email, scheduling software) for day-to-day operations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a fast-paced work environment while keeping customers informed and satisfied.
