Senior Account Executive
Location: NYC Hybrid at our Flatiron office (3 in-office days required)
Salary Range: $55-65K based on experience

MMC is looking for a Senior Account Executive who’s equal parts strategist, creative spark plug, and team captain.
You’ll lead the charge on some of our most exciting accounts across beauty and consumer brands – guiding client strategy, mentoring junior team members, and making real media magic happen.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create big-picture, scroll-stopping comms plans that make clients say “wow” (and actually drive results).
- Leverage your media relationships across print, digital, and broadcast to land meaningful, buzzworthy placements.
- Craft press releases, pitches, strategic plans and talking points that get noticed, opened, and shared.
- Mentor and supervise junior team members, helping them grow while keeping the team engaged and energized.
- Keep multiple accounts running smoothly, prioritize like a pro, and keep the team on point and energized.
- Be part of planning and executing memorable product launches, influencer events, and IRL or virtual moments that stick.
- Stay on top of pop culture, what’s next, and where our clients should show up—before anyone else even sees it coming.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with clients, acting as a primary point of contact for day-to-day communications and strategic counsel.
Experience:
- 4–6 years of experience in PR, either agency or in-house, with a strong preference for beauty and lifestyle backgrounds.
- Proven leadership skills, setting a positive tone, motivating the team, and providing clear direction to ensure success.
- An established media network, with the ability to leverage contacts across multiple platforms for maximum impact.
- A Bachelor’s degree in PR, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency with industry tools like MuckRack, Cision, and other platforms that enhance media outreach and strategy execution.
- Strong project management abilities, balancing multiple clients and priorities without compromising quality.
- Experience managing or overseeing high-profile events, product launches, and influencer partnerships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to pitch and present ideas clearly to clients and media.
