Aquinas College is a Catholic Secondary College in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne with an enrolment of over 1700. We wish to appoint a dynamic, suitably qualified musician to the position of Classroom Music Teacher and Instrumental Music Teacher – Voice. This is a 0.4 FTE, fixed term 12 month position for the 2025 school year.
The successful applicant :
- Will have the ability to teach Voice.
- Will be willing to teach individual as well as small group lessons.
- Will be comfortable teaching Year 7 – 12 students including VCE groups and solo students.
- Will have the ability to facilitate and conduct large core ensembles, and small extension vocal ensembles (multiple part harmony).
- Will participate in school music events as required from time to time.
- Will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.
- Will have excellent communication skills.
- Will have the ability to work successfully within a team.
- VIT Registration is essential.
