Salary: Up to $100,000 annually

We are seeking a Director of Rehabilitation Services to lead and oversee our Rehab Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Speech Therapist to step into a leadership role and make a meaningful impact in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, organize, and evaluate rehabilitation services, ensuring alignment with facility goals.
- Stay updated on federal and state regulations, ensuring compliance and recommending policy updates as needed.
- Collaborate with residents and families to develop personalized rehabilitation programs.
- Manage daily staffing and resource allocation, working closely with rehabilitation therapists and administration.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with medical professionals, external healthcare organizations, and the community.
- Identify and address departmental challenges, providing solutions and updates to the Administrator.
- Ensure compliance with rehabilitation standards during government inspections.
- Oversee accurate and detailed documentation of rehabilitation progress.
- Lead multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance rehab program outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation (minimum requirement).
- Active, unencumbered Rehabilitation Therapist License.
- Open to professionals from Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or Speech Therapy backgrounds.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in rehabilitative nursing and at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting (hospital, skilled nursing facility, or long-term care).
- Knowledge of RUGS and CMI.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
