Our Water and Wastewater Utilities Team is seeking an AutoCAD Civil3D Design Professional to support our company operations headquartered in Edinburg, Texas.
About the Role
The successful candidate will produce construction drawings and details for treatment plants, water distribution systems, and sewer collection systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce civil/mechanical plans for water and wastewater facilities.
- Prepare accurate construction plans and details with input from the Project Engineer and Project Manager.
- Interpret sketches and markups provided by the Project Engineer and other team members.
- Collaborate with the design engineer, project manager, and project administrators in the planning and production of a complete set of construction documents.
- Utilize company CAD standards effectively in addition to updating templates and any other CADD processes for the team's needs.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- An Associate's degree in CAD or Design/Drafting Technology, preferred.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
- Experience in the preparation of construction plans for water and wastewater facilities, preferred.
- Experience in civil and mechanical design, preferred.
Preferred Skills
The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in:
- AutoDesk Civil 3D.
- MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
