Now Hiring: Dance Class Teacher
Melissa & Starling’s Performing Arts and Tutoring—located in the Boynton Beach Mall and expanding to a new location—is seeking a passionate and skilled Dance Instructor to join our growing team.
We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes dance, loves working with children and teens, and is ready to bring energy, creativity, and structure to our classes. If you have a heart for teaching and a talent for choreography, we want to hear from you.
Position: Dance Class Teacher (Part-time or Full-time Available)
Schedule: Weekdays and Saturdays (Flexible Hours)
What You’ll Do:
- Teach a variety of dance styles to students ages 5–17 (hip-hop, ballet, jazz, lyrical, etc.)
- Create age-appropriate choreography for recitals and performances
- Encourage students’ confidence, discipline, and teamwork through dance
- Maintain a positive, engaging, and organized classroom environment
- Collaborate with our instructors in music, art, and academics to support student success
- Assist during rehearsals, showcases, and community events
You’re a Great Fit If You:
- Have experience teaching dance to children and teens
- Are confident in leading group classes and managing different skill levels
- Are energetic, reliable, and passionate about the performing arts
- Have a background in dance education, choreography, or performance
- Can commit to consistent scheduling and class prep
- Are a team player with a professional and fun approach
