ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Comprehends orders, product, locations and/or follows oral instructions to determine materials or containers to be moved
- Ability to operate scanners for receipt, transfer and return of raw materials and finished product
- Responsible for creating all necessary labels for inventory received into the facility
- Ensures received materials are correctly identified and labeled, if not attaches identification data onto materials
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves
- Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit
- Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area
- Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production/put away sheet(s).
- Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers
- Assists with maintaining accurate inventory
- Stacks or assembles materials into appropriate areas
- Maintains clean work area, assists with cleaning organizing, and assist picking associates.
- Knowledgeable of and supports Human Resource, Quality and Safety/Environmental policies & practices. Strives for continuous improvement in their area of expertise and job function that results in better cost, quality, or functionality of the products we deliver to our customers
- Demonstrate teamwork and respect by working constructively with co-workers to achieve the best results possible
- All other duties assigned by the supervisor or department manager

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- One (1) to Three (3) months of related experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
