Responsibilities:
- Monitors and maintains pipeline for specialized loan files, such as ARMS, balloons, matured, and deferred balance loans. Sends notification to members regarding payment changes and contacts members regarding expiring maturity dates. Works with members to resolve special loan escalations.
- Prepares files for mortgage insurance claim submissions and provides appropriate documentation for audit purposes. Follows up on mortgage insurance claims, additional information requests, and post-foreclosure results. Prepares loss mitigation claims for filling through FHA Connection. Submits supporting documents to Government-Sponsored Enterprises (GSE's) for filing of claims.
- Processes reaffirmation requests for investor Credit Unions and GSE loans. Reviews all necessary documents and sends Modification Request Summary for our Credit Union investor. Prepares modification requests and sends to members. Uploads Borrower’s financials to GSE Loss Mitigation system for approval of loan modification. Discusses Loss Mitigation options with borrowers.
- Assists with default conversion files during a loan conversion. Meets with credit unions to discuss files during conversion process. Responsible for researching and ensuring default related docs are transferred correctly.
- Reviews and processes requests regarding state assistance programs. Ensures government agencies receive timely responses regarding assistance programs. Acts as a backup for other areas of the loss mitigation department, when needed.
