Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Temporary Administrative Assistant to provide support for daily office operations in Mercedes, TX. This two-month assignment requires a professional who can manage administrative tasks efficiently and support the team with clerical duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional manner
- Greet and assist visitors and staff members
- Perform general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and data entry
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence (mail and email)
- Maintain and update records, databases, and office files
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed
- Ensure the office remains organized and supplies are stocked
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings or appointments
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Previous administrative or clerical experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
