We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Lab Operations Manager. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our laboratory, ensuring that all tests and procedures are performed accurately and efficiently. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, communicating effectively with healthcare staff, and collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical technology and at least 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting. They will also have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily laboratory operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
* Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with healthcare staff
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve laboratory performance
Requirements:
* Current registration as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist by ASCP
* BS in Medical Technology or Baccalaureate degree plus completion of a NAACLS accredited Medical Technology program
* At least 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting
