Memorial Transplant Institute at Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a dynamic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its team. Memorial Transplant Institute is a growing UNOS-approved program rated #2 in Florida, and #8 in the US for kidney outcomes for 1-year survival. The selected candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of exceptional providers to guide patients through every facet of transplant care. Responsibilities will include coverage of inpatient services for the kidney-pancreas program, management of kidney and pancreas transplant recipients, and end-stage renal disease patients. Nurse Practitioner candidates must have a national Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (AGACNP). Physician Assistant candidates must have a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or Master’s equivalent) from an ARC-PA accredited program and possess a Physician Assistant Certification. A BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross and Florida license must be obtained by date of hire.
Schedule requirements are 6 AM to 6 PM, with rotating weekend and holiday coverage. This is a full-time position offering competitive benefits and a compensation package based on experience and training. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
