What are the responsibilities and job description for the UROLOGY ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER position at Memorial Healthcare System Physician and Provider Careers?
Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a motivated and dynamic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its team. Memorial’s Division of Urology provides specialized services to the community and beyond for urologic conditions including incontinence, cancer, and those affecting fertility. The selected provider will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in the assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with acute urological conditions in an inpatient and outpatient setting. Responsibilities will range from routine care to assistance with procedures including nerve stimulations, catheterizations, BCG infusions, and bladder instillations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a urology practice setting or at least seven (7) years’ experience as an advanced practice provider. Candidates must have a national Adult Nurse Practitioner Certification, or must have a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or Master’s equivalent) from an ARC-PA accredited program and possess a Physician Assistant Certification. A BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross and Florida license must be obtained by date of hire.
Schedule requirements are Monday thru Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM. This position will rotate in the following locations: Aventura, Hollywood, Pembroke Pines, and Miramar. This is a full-time employed position that offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
