What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Laboratory Technician position at Memorial Hospital and Manor?
Job Description
Performs routine Laboratory analysis and quality control testing following well defined preset criteria. Tests may be performed in Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Microbiology (CLIA waived) Serology and Urinalysis. Performs phlebotomy procedures on all ages of patients.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Must pass test given by National Certification agency; MLT (ASCP), CLT (NCAMLP, RLT (AAB), MLT (AMT), CLT (HEW) or equivalent. Must demonstrate a knowledge of theory and technical expertise to meet the standards of the supervising technologist.
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
