What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Registry Specialist - Cardiovascular Informatics - Days - PT+20 position at Memorial Hospital at Gulfport?
Supports the clinical registry management efforts for the Cardiac and Critical Care Services area. Supports performance improvement by facilitation and coordination of clinical database information; and supporting departmental system applications.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing program with a minimum of Associate Degree.
Licensure: Current MS RN license or temporary permit for the same.
Experience: RN with three (3) years of clinical experience in cardiac or critical care and/or in combination as a radiology technician or cardiovascular technician in a healthcare setting.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Skilled in accurate data input; advanced skills in computer software applications; excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to work in stressful situations; ability to work creatively within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Public Health or Healthcare management.
Licensure: N/A
Experience: RN with three (3) years of experience in cardiac or critical care and/or to include experience in quality management or database management / coordination.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Computer network analysis; basis statistics; performance as a team facilitator; knowledge of performance improvement tools and database management.
