Logistics Operations Manager - Supply Chain - Days - FT - Biloxi Location

• Oversee and support logistical activities and staff ensuring a smooth customer focused experience
  • Develop strategic plans to improve warehousing operations
  • Manage and maintain documentation for Hazmat events for Memorial Health System
  • Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation/couriers, and linen services
  • Introduction and management of Warehouse management systems
• Plan appropriate steps and action plans to achieve departmental and organizational strategic goals and objectives
  • Ensure compliance of Occupational Health and Safety and a safe workplace for all
  • Work closely with Engineering to support management and maintenance of departmental vehicle fleet
  • Identify and manage continuous improvement projects
  • Resolve any arising problems escalating issues as required
  • As required provide support in solving day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
• Apply supply chain best practices to actively identify, analyze, and recommend quick win opportunities both internal and external to MHS
  • Assist in solution design and analytical support for supply chain activities
  • Engage with stakeholders to identify, scope, plan, and execute improvement initiatives
  • Provide support to the Director of Supply Chain and Logistical Service as needed
