What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Department - Variable - PT-20 position at Memorial Hospital at Gulfport?
- Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served; also, demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status. Interpretation of information is required to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures.
- Performs patient care service as delegated.
- Communicates patient/family health care needs to the appropriate health care provider.
- Participates as a member of the team to achieve business goals, clinical/quality outcomes, and customer satisfactions.
- Practices within legal, ethical and professional boundaries.
Education: Masters Degree graduate in a nursing program from an accredited school of nursing.
Education: Must have successfully completed at least 700 clinical practice hours.
