Position Summary
The PBX operator acts as an integral part of the communication hub of the Medical Center and facilitates communication with physicians, staff, patients, families, the media, and outside agencies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum Education: High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum Experience: Prior experience as a switchboard operator preferred. Familiarity with computerized system required.
Must be able to communicate effectively via oral and written means. Must be able to work non-scheduled shifts on short notice.
