What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Mixer Driver (Earth Tech, LLC) position at Menard Group USA?
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Performing pre and post trip cement truck inspection every day before departure and after returning to the plant.
- Ensuring the truck is in good working order and keeping record of the inspections.
- Maintaining a trip log book required by the DOT.
- Climbing into and out of the mixer truck and up and down the ladder.
- Driving to and from the job worksite.
- Production activities that include climbing up and down the ladder, such adding and mixing concrete materials or chemicals with water to the batch if additions are needed.
- Loading at the plant, and unloading materials from mixer truck at the jobsite.
- Maintaining records of grout delivered.
- Cleaning equipment and work areas after at the direction of the field superintendent.
- End of day truck wash out at the plant.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Understanding of diesel, hydraulics, and electrical related applications
- Mechanically inclined with great problem solving skills
- Ability to work well in fast paced and stressful environments
Education and Experience Requirements
3 years of CDL driving experience required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to climb in and out of machinery.
- Able to bend, stand, push, pull, kneel, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
- Must be able to visually inspect machines.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
Required Certifications
Valid CDL Class B or higher
