About The Opportunity
Assist maintenance/automation personnel in day-to-day activities.
Position Summary:
Assist maintenance/automation personnel in day-to-day activities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand and troubleshoot automation. Understand and troubleshoot injection molding press systems. Assist in improving machine efficiency through automation uptime and optimization. Use basic electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical fundamentals. Use milling machine, lathe, and drill press. Understand and perform all steps of a mold/version change. Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed). Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities. Other duties as assigned.

Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business. Ability to work on a rotating shift. Ability to work rotating job stations. Ability to effectively work in teams. Ability to professionally accept constructive feedback and criticism. Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles. Ability to use formulas, theories and measurements. Ability to work from an elevated platform up to 60 feet high. Ability to take direction from the Maintenance Lead. Ability to complete required training and any corresponding company required work instructions. Ability to understand ORBIS ISO procedures. Ability to complete and pass RJG fundamentals of systematic molding and RJG Machine Maintenance courses. Satisfactory attendance and performance by ORBIS Corporation standards. Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. Ability to tolerate a changing work environment with temperature variation. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
