Our repair shop plays a vital role in serving our community, and we want you to be part of our team! If you have experience with band instruments, we'd love to speak with you! Our band instrument repair assistants work over the summer to clean and refurbish returned and new instruments to get ready to rent or sell.
This position is for our Operations Center in Hanover, PA. We will need seasonal employees from mid-May/early June through mid-August, with the potential for additional hours in September. It is a great summer job for high school or college students!
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Thoroughly clean instrument, mouthpiece, and case.
- Identify any repairs or adjustments that need to be made to the instrument.
- Improve cosmetic appearance of instrument.
- Examine case and repair/replace as necessary.
- Replace included accessory items in case.
- Restock in warehouse once prep is completed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Band instrument playing experience a plus but not necessary.
- On the job training provided.
