Description
Job Summary: The scheduling coordinator is responsible for identifying needs, planning, coordinating, monitoring scheduling needs, and assigning available resources as needed to maintain appropriate staffing for MBL clients.
Essential Functions of the Job:
- Monitors staffing needs and addresses needs as they arise
- Tracks and verifies all employee hours, overtime, and call-outs on a daily basis
- 24/7 on-call duties on a rotating basis
- Rearrange staff schedules to meet scheduling needs
- Ability to fill-in as CNA until coverage is found in the case of emergency or last-minute call-out
- Manage change in schedule and communicates the impact to Clinical team
- Make calls to caregiver to cover call-outs, no shows, emergencies, etc.
- Communicate scheduling updates with caregivers and clients
- Track caregiver availability
- Maintain caregiver and client profiles in online scheduling software
- Assist Office Manager with daily office functions, answer office phones
- Communicates staffing issues with RN Manager, Home Care Coordinator, and/or Director of Operations
- Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Required:
- 24/7 Scheduling experience (Preferably in Home Care services)
- Experience with WellSky (ClearCare) preferred
- Active Georgia CNA certification
- High school or college graduate
- One year experience in home care
