Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in locating products.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products.
- Recommend local wines and help customers choose from their favorite varietals showcasing our local AVA's
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked store, including restocking shelves and managing inventory.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist with pricing, discounts, and promotions.
- Promote upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase revenue for the store and tips for you.
- Collaborate with team members and owner to achieve store goals and maintain high standards of customer service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail math concepts.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as required.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to work independently.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn about all products and wines.
