Job Description: The Hotel Caretaker is responsible for handling basic maintenance tasks or small property upkeep projects and supporting the housekeeping team. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to providing outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of hotel public areas.
- Assist housekeeping staff by restocking supplies and laundering linens.
- Perform full departure cleans from start to finish.
- Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously. Work closely with management and innkeepers to assist guests.
- Perform light maintenance tasks and report any maintenance issues to management.
- Comply with all hotel policies, procedures, and standards of service.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends and holidays.
