Job Summary:
The IT Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s IT infrastructure, networks, and security systems. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and project management experience to ensure the seamless operation of IT services and the successful delivery of IT projects. The IT Manager will also be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of the organization’s data and systems, as well as managing the IT Helpdesk to provide timely and effective support to end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and deliverables.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and cloud services.
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of IT systems to support business operations.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT hardware, software, and services.
- Design, implement, and maintain the organization’s network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network configurations for maximum efficiency and security.
- Ensure network compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect the organization’s data and systems.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Oversee the IT Helpdesk function to ensure timely and effective resolution of end-user issues and requests.
- Implement and maintain IT Helpdesk tools and systems to streamline support processes and improve user satisfaction.
- Monitor Helpdesk performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement improvements to enhance service quality.
- Train and mentor Helpdesk staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional support.
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages continuous improvement.
- Ensure IT systems and processes comply with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, HIPAA).
- Maintain and update certifications relevant to IT management, project management, and security.
- Perform any other tasks or functions deemed necessary to the daily operations of the employer.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of [3] years of experience in IT management, with a focus on project management, IT infrastructure, networking, and security.
- Relevant certifications such as:
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent
- ITIL Certification
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network architecture, and security best practices.
- Proven experience in managing complex IT projects and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hybrid cloud environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

Compensation:
Meneses Law believes in Work Life Balance. Operation hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. plus 2 Saturdays a month for certain positions.
